The American Society of Mechanical Engineers launched a Call for Abstracts for the ASME 2013 International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition in San Diego, California, between November 15-21, 2013. Abstracts can be submitted before Fabruary 7th, 2013.

The International Forum on Aeroelasticity and Structural Dynamics (IFASD2013) will be organised between 24 and 27 June 2013 by the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS), in collaboration with the Council of European Aerospace Societies (CEAS) and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). IFASD2013 will provide a comprehensive survey of the current status of research and development, and industrial practice, in the fields of Aerospace Vehicle Aeroelasticity and Structural Dynamics, Multidisciplinary Analysis and Optimisation, and Active and Adaptive Structures. It will provide an excellent opportunity for scientists and engineers from industry, government and universities to exchange knowledge and results of current studies, and to discuss directions for future research.

The American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics and the Council of European Aerospace Societies organize the 19th AIAA/CEAS Aeroacoustics Conference between 27 - 29 May 2013 in Berlin, Berlin, Germany. Details, registration and paper submission here.

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) organizes a seminar on "How to write successful proposals for ESA R&D activities" between January 23rd and 25th 2013, at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinarian Medicine in Bucharest. The seminar is aimed for companies and institutions interested in collaborating with the European Space Agency and European space industry.

Between 21 - 23 November 2012, the National Research and Development Institute for Gas Turbines COMOTI organized in Bucharest a scientific workshop on "High Performance CFD and Optimization Techniques for Aeronautical and Industrial Centrifugal Compressors". The workshop presented the latest CFD and optimization techniques for the design and analysis of the centrifugal compressor flows. and brought together some of the best CFD specialists from European research institutes, universities and companies widely recognized for their aeronautical and industrial compressed air solutions, including several of the most prestigious RAAA members
